Surviving A Natural Disaster

The ongoing death & destruction in California got me thinking about the decision to shelter in place vs following mandatory evacuation orders.

When SHTF, whether it be natural or manmade, the survivalist must assess the situation and make a calculated decision to stay or go.

Mandatory evacuation orders were used for anyone in the reach of the fires, however, many chose to ignore or never got the warning.

Making the wrong decision can have deadly results as we have seen in the story of the Bledsoe family.

This is a great example of why everyone needs an evac strategy, bug out bags prepped and a clear concept of the danger at hand.
