Two Friends Trail Running 900km

My buddy Eric and I reconnected after a few years of not seeing each other – We both had been running a bit so on a whim we started a Trail running project on Canada’s longest and oldest Trail, The 900km long Bruce Trail. We definitely didn’t know if we could do it or any of the logistics but figured why not just try and figure it out and train on the go.

2019 was a great year for running but sometimes life got in the way so we had to take time off.

2020 was a bit of a disaster – after a solid first run of the year I injured my foot and had to take time off – then the trails were closed due to the pandemic – then winter

2021 is looking hopeful! We’re at least a 2-hour drive from home to get to the trailhead, so 4+ hour days of driving plus the hours of running. Logistically we need to figure out how we can make this work – The thought is to do some multi-day trips (run 20km – Camp – run 30km) or something of the sort.
