Two Wild Nights In Eryri

We head to Eryri (otherwise known as Snowdonia) in this one for two nights of camping and mountain peak bagging.
On day one we climbed Aran Fawddwy. We stashed the rucksacks in the trees and made for the summit. Being treated to some epic views up at the trig, we turned round to head back and make camp just beating the encroaching clouds. The sunset that night was just amazing.
Day two we headed an hour north to the Carneddau to meet Cat from One Girl And Her Dog and camp at the top of Foel Grach. We bagged a few big peaks along the way and after getting past 700 metres we hit the snow line. The night stayed at around -3C the whole time and caused some amazing looking frost formations. Surprisingly we all slept really well in our frozen tents. In the morning we descended with the snow falling all around and finished off with a well deserved cooked breakfast in Moel Siabod cafe.
