Vintage vs. New Tent Wild Camp @ Mountain Stream – Phreak & Cloud Peak

On today’s wild camp we pit a vintage tent – the Phoenix Phreak against a new Naturehike Cloud Peak. We camp at a beautiful mountain stream in Wales and take the staffy dog along for the ride.

We used a firebox for warmth and to cook on which is a great leave no trace option for camping.
The temperature is beginning to drop for winter now so I used my army down sleeping bag and sheepskin rug for warmth. We had some quality craft ales and some rain through the night which gave a beautiful sound to sleep to.
It’s great to get out in the wilderness away from civilization for the night.
