WARBONNET RIDGERUNNER SPREADER BARS..CAN YOU USE STICKS?

If you use the warbonnet ridge runner hammock, always make sure you bring the spreader bars! But, if you DO forget to bring the poles, there’s another way.
I’m not sure I recommend this but it could definitely save your backpacking trip. I think you could also use your trekking poles as spreader bars, although I’m not sure how you would attach them to the hammock.
I have considered not carrying a knife to save weight..not any more! I think my multi tool is coming with me from now on! Especially if I’m taking the ridge runner hammock. Or, I could just be smart, and not forget anything.
Backpacking gear lists can definitely help in this area. I strongly recommend making a gear list of everything you would normally bring on a backpacking trip. Make a list and Check it twice!

Although hammock camping does have a certain complexity tent camping does not. I really like the flexibility hammock camping provides. I don’t have to search for that perfect camping site for my tent. All you need for a hammock are two trees
