Wet N Wild Camping in Wales – Rain Storm

3 lads out for the night up the Brecon Beacons, Wales in a rain storm. We went wild camping up the mountains and got pretty wet doing it. We all jumped in my onetigris hot tent and dried off around the stove when we finally got it lit well with the wet wood on offer to us. We guzzled quite a few beers and chilled out with some music and giant philly cheese steaks! It was 2 miles to walk to the wild camping spot which felt a lot longer in the chucking down rain. Luckily we slept in a fairly sheltered spot which I think was some sort of old sheep pen. It wasn’t too cold I guess you’d call this time of year Autumn to early Winter. Water was a bit cold and fast flowing in the morning for a swim so I had to settle for a primal scream to wake me up 😂. The vango seemed to perform well too when Nathan woke up in a pool but the water didn’t get through his inner tent.
