YOU should car camp HERE! – Snowdonia Car Camping

Last September my car camper was brutally murdered, here are the 2 last car camps we did before that fateful day. Rest in peace little golf camper, you have taken us to some amazing places, your battery never died on us and you never broke down, even though we got you stuck on humps in the road and torn holes in your bottom. I’ve scraped your underside numerous times on uneven road surfaces we should have never been anywhere near, but you never gave up.

Thank you for your adventure services, you are missed immensely.

For your final car camps we enjoyed a cracking view of Barmouth bridge and all it’s surrounding beauty on one side and the beautiful beach of Fairbourne and the Llyn Peninsula on the other. We also woke up lakeside in a fantastic car park overlooking Moel Hebog, which turned out to be a fabulous base for exploring Ynys Pandy slate mill and the other abandoned working slate houses in the area.

There will be lots more wild camps to come!
